Experience

From 2009 to 2014, Katja Noschis Delaloye was part of the founding team of MR PORTER, personally hired by Natalie Massenet. She conducted the market study that defined the brand’s positioning and curated 80% of the launch assortment, securing labels such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Paul Smith, J.Crew, and Rag & Bone. She then served as Buying Manager for Tailoring and Classic Accessories, shaping MR PORTER into one of the most influential menswear platforms of the decade.

Before that, from 2006 to 2009, Katja worked as a buyer and manager at Bon Génie-Grieder, Switzerland’s leading luxury department store, where she gained deep experience in buying and brand management.

Fashion as a passion

From the age of 15, when Katja began modeling in Switzerland, she felt at home in the creative and international world of fashion. Surrounded by diverse people and creative minds, she immediately knew she wanted to build her career in this field — a decision she has never questioned.

After earning a Master’s in International Affairs in Geneva, Katja pursued the prestigious Master in Fashion, Experience & Design Management (MAFED) at SDA Bocconi in Milan in 2005. The program equipped her with the tools to conceptualize and structure the fashion business, skills she applied directly to real-life case studies and projects.

That same year, she gained hands-on experience as Assistant to the Head of Communication at Costume National in Milan, supporting the brand’s press and communication strategy and further strengthening her connection to the creative side of the industry.
