Who we are

Couture Consultancy was founded in 2015 in New York by Katja Noschis Delaloye and has been headquartered in Frankfurt since May 2022.

The consultancy tailors its services to the specific needs of each fashion and lifestyle entrepreneur. Its expertise spans strategic brand positioning, the development of a consistent visual and communication language, photoshoot and campaign creation in collaboration with photographer Beatrice von Winterfeldt, as well as social media and content strategies, including team training for effective implementation.

Education and knowledge transfer form another key pillar of Couture Consultancy’s work. Katja Noschis Delaloye regularly designs and leads workshops, seminars, lectures, and keynotes on digital brand strategy, sustainable positioning, and the use of AI in creative workflows. Through these programs, she supports entrepreneurs, creative professionals, startups, and institutions in developing the skills needed to build strong and future-ready brands.

Every collaboration begins with a free initial consultation, ensuring the right foundation from the start. Couture Consultancy is dedicated to building long-term partnerships and achieving the best possible results. Core values such as sustainability, digital relevance, and inclusivity are at the heart of every project.

From 2018 to 2020, Couture Consultancy was based at Spring Place in New York, the headquarters of New York Fashion Week, further strengthening its global industry connections.

Experience

From 2009 to 2014, Katja Noschis Delaloye was part of the founding team of MR PORTER, having been personally hired by Natalie Massenet. She conducted the market research that helped define the platform’s positioning and curated approximately 80% of the launch assortment, securing brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Paul Smith, J.Crew, and Rag & Bone. She later served as Buying Manager for Tailoring and Classic Accessories, contributing to the development of MR PORTER into one of the most influential global menswear platforms of the decade.

Prior to this, from 2006 to 2009, Katja worked as a buyer and manager at Bon Génie-Grieder, Switzerland’s leading luxury department store. In this role she developed strong expertise in buying, brand development, and luxury retail management within a highly competitive international market.

Fashion as a passion

From the age of 15, when Katja began modeling in Switzerland, she felt at home in the creative and international world of fashion. Surrounded by diverse people and inspiring creative minds, she quickly realized that this was the industry where she wanted to build her career — a conviction that has guided her ever since.

After earning a Master’s degree in International Affairs in Geneva, Katja deepened her expertise by completing the prestigious Master in Fashion, Experience & Design Management (MAFED) at SDA Bocconi in Milan in 2005. The program provided her with a strong foundation in the strategic and operational aspects of the fashion business, combining academic insight with practical case studies and industry projects.

During that same period, she gained valuable hands-on experience as Assistant to the Head of Communication at Costume National in Milan, supporting the brand’s press and communication activities and further strengthening her connection to the creative and editorial side of the industry.
